Loyce King, 86 of Monticello, MS passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024 at her residence in Monticello, MS. She was born Friday, January 14, 1938 in Lawrence County, Mississippi to Pink and Rosie Lee Givens.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Divide Methodist Protestant Church in 8 Divide Road, Monticello, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 03, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Divide Methodist Protestant Church (CLC) in , . Burial will follow in Divide Memorial  Methodist Protestant Church Cemetery in Monticello, Mississippi.  will officiate. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-587-2573

Loyce loved attending church, and all activities at the church as long as she was able. She was a member of the WMS. She was chosen as "Lady of the Year" in the past. She loved to travel with her dear husband and family. They went everywhere. She made her daughter's clothes and would sit up all night sewing in order to have the clothes completed for special events. She was honored, at the age of 84, to be a "flower girl" in her great granddaughter's wedding. Her four girls spoiled her, to which she openly admitted. The girls were all by her side when she took her heavenly journey.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, J. D.King; her parents; sisters: Charlene Sauls, Joyce Robbins (twin sister to Loyce); brothers: Billy Ford Givens;grandson: Joe Reid;great grandson: Dillon Reid;great great grandson, Alaric McCollum; and sons-in-law: Reggie Martin, Gerald Reid; and granddaughter-in-law: Tandy Holmes.

Survivors include her daughters, Brenda King Keyes (Benjie) of Monticello, MS, Debbie King Martin of Mccomb, MS, Cindy King Renfroe (Wayne) of Monticello, MS and Pam King Reid of Monticello, MS. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren. Closest friend of 42 years, Barbara Mason of Destin, Florida.
