Louise Rutland Sauls went to be with our Lord and Savior on Feb. 13, 2020.

She was born on Oct. 17, 1927 to Jesse and Minnie Rutland in Lawrence County.

Mrs. Sauls was long-time resident of Lawrence County and was employed as an EMT at the Lawrence County Hospital for many years before her retirement.

She had a servant's heart and was always active in church from being a Sunday School teacher, choir member, Training Union Director, Bible School Director, and more.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents Jesse and Minnie Rutland and her brother Hunter Rutland.  Her husband W. S. (Buddy) Sauls passed away in 2011.

Mrs. Sauls is survived by her sisters Jo Ann Rogers and Gwen Kyzar.  Her two daughters Mary Givens and husband Toxie of Brandon, MS and Kay Morgan and husband Toby of  Richmond, VA.  Her grandchildren are Toxie Givens III and wife Kelly of Jacksonville, FL, and Courtney Frisby and husband Bob of Brandon, MS.  Her three great grandchildren are Tad Givens, Lyndsey Givens, and Fallon Frisby.  She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be at from 11am-1pm on Saturday, Feb. 15 at Sauls Valley Baptist Church.  Funeral services are then at 1pm, with burial following at the Sauls Family Cemetery.

We, her daughters and family, wish to thank all of you friends and family for the love and support given to our precious Mom through the years.  We know she is celebrating in Heaven with Jesus and Daddy.
