Funeral services for Lillian Thames will be on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, MS at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Monticello, MS. Bro. Talmadge Smith and Bro. Michael Smith will be officiating the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
Ms. Thames, 88, of Monticello MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Lawrence County Nursing Center in Monticello, MS. She was born on September 18, 1928 in Duncan, MS, to Fletcher and Mittie Westbrook Huff.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, and husbands Hollis P. Williamson and Howard Thames.
She is survived by her children Kathleen Petty of Petal, MS, Sue Coleman of Ragland, AL, Hollis P. Williamson II of Monticello, MS, and Becky Puckett of Madison, MS.
In Lieu of Flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
