Langley Ellis Taylor, 76, of Sontag, MS passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Beacham Memorial Hospital in Magnolia, Mississippi. He was born on July 17, 1948, in Pinola, MS to Henry R. Taylor and Ada M. Jackson (Turnage).

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, MS at 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Pinola, MS.

Mr. Taylor was a retired plumber from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Taylor and Ada M. Jackson; his wife Glenda Taylor; brothers Robert Taylor and James C. Taylor; and sister Virginia Johnson.

Survivors include sons Toby Taylor and James Taylor of Sontag, MS; sisters Shirley Pearson and Patsy Fuller of West Monroe, LA; brothers Billy Taylor of Braxton, MS and Jackie Taylor (Sheila) of Monticello, MS.
