Kevin Lamar Young, Age 62, of Monticello, Mississippi passed away on July 26, 2026, in Monticello, Mississippi. Kevin was born on July 26, 1964, in Pike County, MS to his Diamond Young and Eloise Dear Young.

He was a gentle person with a very good sense of humor. He had a personality that people loved to be around. He loved to play sports with his two little boys. Kevin always looked up to his brothers, because he was the baby. He loved spending time with his brothers and his grandchildren. Kevin will always be remembered as "PIG". He was an outdoors type of person. If he was sitting inside, he was sitting where he could see outside. Where he is sitting now, he has a way better view that we do. So today, we celebrate the resurrection of Kevin Young as he has gone to be with our God in heaven.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Diamond Young and Eloise Dear Young; his son, Jacob Young, his sister, Rhonda Grimes; and his brother, Wayne Young.

Kevin is survived by his son, Nathan Young; his stepson, Robert Bullock; his brothers, Ronald Young, Harold Young, Michael Young, Kerry Young; his grandkids, Kelsie Young, Kayleigh Young, Chloe Young, Jacob Young, Lily Bullock, Waverly Bullock, and Paisley Bullock; his significant other, Kathy Bullock; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
