Mr. Kenneth Mayhugh Sr., 82, of New Hebron, Mississippi passed away on Sunday May 22, 2022 at his daughter's residence in Monticello, MS. Kenneth was born November 28, 1939 in Hopkinsville, Ky to Andrew Bethel and Mary Bloodworth Mayhugh.

Visitation will be held at New Hebron Baptist Church on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at New Hebron Baptist Church in New Hebron, MS and continuing on Saturday May 28, 2022 from 9:30 AM until service time at 11:00 AM with graveside services following at New Hebron Cemetery in New Hebron. Bro. Mike Grenn and Bro. Robby Britt will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Kenneth proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He retired from retail sales after more than 50 years. He was a member of New Hebron Baptist Church. He was a published author, he loved to minister through music, he was a faithful loving husband, father, and pappy.

Kenneth is survived by his three children Kenneth Mayhugh Jr. (Renee), Temo Mayhugh (Karina) and Patti Roberts (Jimmy); grandchildren Dawn, Drew, Amanda, Zach, Chase, Blake, Anna Beth, Brooke and one on the way; sixteen great-grandchildren; one sister Katherine Thompkins.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Jo Ann Mayhugh; 4 brothers, one daughter-in-law and one great-grandson.
