Funeral services for Katherine "Sue" Honea, 81, will be on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Sontag, MS at 2 PM with burial to follow in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Sontag, MS. Bro. Ed King will be officiating the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements, Visitation will be at Shiloh Baptist Church on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 11 AM until service time at 2 PM.

Ms. Honea, 81, of Sontag MS, went to be with her Savior on April, 26, 2017, at her residence in Sontag with her loving family by her side. She was born on April 14, 1936 in Lawrence County, MS, to Fred and Maudie Harrison Smith. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was also very active in her community. She was a GA Director for over twenty three years, member of the WMU and Member of the choir for over ten years at Shiloh Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Calvin Honea.

She is survived by her two sons Tim Honea, and Alex Honea both of Sontag; three grandsons, Zack, Ela, Honea; and T.J. Ward, one Granddaughter, Tara Herron. Two sisters, Gloria Ervin and Betty Barham, and Cousin Barbara Garrett are all of Sontag. Including six Great Grandchildren.
