Judith L Thames, age 65 of Valparaiso, IN passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014. She was born on December 13th, 1948 in Monticello, MS to Lee and Willie (Davis) Thames. She is survived by her mother, Willie (Davis) Thames of Gulfport, MS; daughters, Susan (Dean) Egolf of Valparaiso, IN and Lynn (Ryian) Kellogg of Michigan City, IN; brothers, Donald Thames of Independence, MO, Larry Thames of Gulfport, MS, and Marcus (Julie) Schuchs of GA; sisters, Brenda (Steve) Atterberry of LaCrosse, IN and Patti Thames of Gulfport, MS; grandchildren, Aaron, Christopher, Eric, Brittany, Matthew, Kaylee, Payton, and Grace. She was preceded in death by her father; and her brothers, Ronald, Buddy, and Rodney Thames. Judith was a resident of Northwest Indiana for over 50 years. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 19th, 2014 at 7:00 PM at Edmonds & Edmonds Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, IN with Reverend Scott Jones officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19th, 2014 from 4:00PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM. Additional services will be held at Wilson Funeral Home, 904 Thomas E Jolly Drive, Monticello, MS on Friday, November 21st 5 til 9pm. Funeral Services will be 11am Saturday November 22 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place at Roberts Memorial Cemetery in Jayess, MS following the service.
