Ms. Joyce Letchworth Price 85, of Monticello, MS passed away on November 25, 2018 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Joyce was born January 12, 1933 in Lawrence County Mississippi to Jesse and Evie Polk Williamson.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Oak Vale Baptist Church in Oak Vale and continuing Wednesday, November 28, from 9 AM until service time at 11AM with graveside services following in Oak Vale Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Eddie Myers and Bro. Tim McCaffrey will officiate the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Joyce worked at Kellwood Manufacturing in Monticello as the plant manager for several years. She also worked at the Lawrence County Nursing Center, was the first woman president of the Monticello Chamber of Commerce and served as an election commissioner.

She is survived by husband Dale Price; daughter Kathryn Turnage and husband Wayne, granddaughters Shana Turnage, Leslie Paige Nations; grandsons Brad Turnage, Paul Letchworth, Jeffery Letchworth; sister Sue Griffith; 17 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren; 4 step children and their families.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Leslie Letchworth, son Thomas Jeff Letchworth; two brothers Harold and Carroll Williamson.
