Mrs Joyce Yarborough Lambert, 73, of Monticello, Mississippi passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Lawrence County Nursing Center in Monticello, MS. Joyce was born December 15, 1947 in Jackson County, Mississippi to Emmett and Erlene Alexander Yawn.

Visitation will be held at Jayess Baptist Church on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Graveside services will follow in Jayess Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. James Sanders will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Joyce loved spending time outdoors working with her flowers. She loved to cook for her family. Joyce was a member of Jayess Baptist Church. Joyce will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Joyce survived by her husband, Joe Lambert of Jayess, MS; her two children, Ken Yarborough and Jennifer Williams; two step-children, Rickie and Todd Rutland; one brother Rodney Yawn; eight grandchildren.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
