Funeral services for Joy Lee Mason will be on Monday, February 3, 2020, at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, MS at 11:30 AM with burial to follow in the New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Monticello, MS.

Visitation will be at Wilson Funeral Home on Monday, February 3, 2020, from 9:30 AM until service time.

Bro. Ken Hedgepeth will be officiating the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Mason, 75, of Sontag, MS, passed from this life on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Bedford Care Center in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born on October 19, 1944 in Monticello, MS, to Ed and Blanche Prine Mason.

Joy Lee retired from Georgia Pacific after 30 plus years, he enjoyed the outdoors and gardening.

Preceding him in death were his parents; sister, Nola Ferguson; and brothers, Ray, Ben, Bobby, Gene Mason.

Survivors are his sons, Lee Mason, and Brian Letchworth; daughters, Heather Atwood, Amanda Prince, Jody Letchworth; brothers, Dennis and Buster Mason; sister Ann Owen; grandchildren, 8.
