Joseph Eugene Bennett, 68 of Silver Creek, MS passed away Friday, March 7, 2025 at his residence in Silver Creek, MS. He was born Saturday, August 11, 1956 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

A Memorial service will be planned soon. Pastor Jay Thompson will officiate.

He was preceded in death by his step-son, Stephen Barnett;  father, Joseph Bennett;  mother, Wanda Bennett.

Survivors include his wife, Velda Dyess Bennett of Silver Creek, MS;  son, Joseph Kyle Bennett (Jeannie) of Silver Creek, MS;  daughter, Shelby Marie Bennett;  step-sons, Brian Barnett, Jackie Ward;  grandchildren, Ember Pearson and Nicholas Hartzog;  great grandchild, Gabriel Hartzog.
