Mr. Johnny Lee Norris, 70, of Monticello, Mississippi passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Merit Hospital in Brandon, Mississippi. Johnny was born February 6, 1951, in Cleveland, Texas to Buley and Bessie Dunaway Norris.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 3:00PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, MS. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2:00 Pm till 3:00 PM.

Johnny retired from the oil field after 25 plus years. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He was a kind-hearted man who enjoyed caring and providing for others, especially close friends and family. He graduated from Seminary High School in 1970. He was a member of Santee Baptist Church in Bassfield, MS. Johnny will be missed by everyone.

Johnny is survived by his wife, Dorothy Norris of Monticello, MS; daughters, Pam Norris of Tennessee and Roni Smith (Tim) of Monticello, MS; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grand-children; mother Dorothy Mae Norris of Collins, MS; sister, Carla Bullock (Richard) of Seminary, MS; 1 brother Ed Norris of Lufkin, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.

Those preceding him in death were his parents, 2 daughters, 6 brothers and 5 sisters.
