Rev. John Mark Lambert, 54 of Demopolis, Alabama passed away on November 30, 2018 at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson; MS. Mark was born November 25, 1964 in Jackson, MS to Kent Lambert and Annelle Howell Young.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 1 PM until service time at 2 PM at Monticello Methodist Protestant Church in Monticello, MS with graveside services following in Bethshan Cemetery. Rev. Claudio Leal, Rev. Charlie Joe Green and Rev. Reggie Smith will officiate the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mark was an ordained minister with the Methodist Protestant Church; he pastored in Mississippi, Alabama and served as a missionary in Belize, Central America. He was a veteran in the United States Army serving during peace time. He enjoyed his grandchildren, and Alabama Crimson Tide Football. His favorite expressions were "Praise the Lord" and "Roll Tide".

He is survived by his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Lambert of Demopolis, Alabama; daughter Charity Curtis (Samuel) of Demopolis, Alabama; son Wesley Lambert (DeDe) of Linden, Alabama; grandchildren Kayden Lambert, John David Curtis and Danielle Curtis; his parents Kent Lambert of Monticello, MS and Annelle Young (Carl) of Monticello, MS; brothers Adam Lambert of Monticello, MS and Chris Lambert (Lawanna) of Ocean Springs, MS.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Maxie Lambert and Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Howell.
