Mr. John Anderson Butler, 72 was called home from this life on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at his residence in Monticello, MS. John was born April 24, 1946 in Lawrence County, MS to Wilburn Lee Butler and Thelma Mae Herrin Butler.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 05, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 5, 2018 with graveside services following in Stephens Cemetery in Silver Creek, MS. Bro. Jimmy Harvey and Bro. Terry Wallace will officiate the services. Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Surviving John is daughter Lynn Bishop of Monticello, MS; Brothers Howard Butler Sr. of Monticello, MS and Wilburn Lee Butler, Jr. of Gulfport, MS; sisters Diane Conn of Jayess, MS, Nettie Dean Butler of Brookhaven, MS, Becky Carr of Brookhaven, MS and three Grandchildren.

Preceding him in death was parents, and two brothers Roger Dale Butler and Frank Butler.
