Visitation will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Bethel Baptist Church with funeral services on Saturday August 26, 2017 at 11 AM, with graveside services following in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
John, of Monticello, passed from this life on August 22, 2017, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. He was born on November 24, 1970 in Jackson, MS to John Edward Berry Sr. and Wanda Kay Cooper Yarbrough.

John Edward was a hard working family man; he was a loving husband, father, brother and son. He took pride in spending time with his family. Fella was blessed by having several special gifts, he could sing, he could drive a big truck, he could garden and not to forget how he could dance. John was a very giving man, he wanted to share and help others and he continues to do so even after his death by being an organ donor. What greater love and what greater gift than this.

He is survived by his wife Cristie Ann Oliver Berry; son Blake Berry; daughter Brandy Berry; mother Wanda Yarbrough; sisters Anita Kay Hotard, and Nina Griffith. "Fella" was also survived by three nieces Britney Guess, Samantha Hotard, Bella Griffith and one nephew Maston Griffith.

He was preceded in death by his father John Edward Berry Sr.; brother John Warner Berry; grandmother Mary Alice Calvert;grandmother Thelma Berry; grandfather Jim Cooper; great grandmother Nina Ree Brady; great grandfather L. W. Brady
