Joey Harvey, Age 69, of Monticello, Mississippi, passed away on June 27, 2026, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Joey was born on January 23, 1957, in Tylertown, MS to his parents, Bennie Harvey and Vera Mae Thornhill.

A time of visitation will be held at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Monticello on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 6-8 PM.

Funeral services will be conducted at Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Saul’s Valley Cemetery. Ministers are Bro. Tim Robertson and Bro. Terry Wallace. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Joey was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie Harvey and Vera Mae Thornhill; stepfather, Joe Sylvest; niece, Mandy Harvey; and nephew, Cole Harvey.

Joey is survived by his spouse of 44 years, Judy Harvey; sister, La Sheba Boren(Ron); sons, Micheal Harvey, and Dale Mullins (Lauren); daughters, Misti Dean (Chase), Magen Lea (Dylan); son-in-law, Donnie Harvey; grandchildren, Madlynn, Victoria, Taylor, Haden, Halle, Tucker, Caroline, Kate, Cameron, Landon, Easton, Cooper; great grandchildren, David, Walker; nephews, Wesley Belk, Jared Boren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
