Mr. Jimmy Clayton Mason, 75, of Monticello, MS passed away on Monday, December 23, 2019 at Lawrence County Hospital in Monticello, MS. Jimmy was born September 23, 1944, in Monticello, MS to Rev. Clayton Toy and Ora Lee Hearn Mason.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Jimmy was a retired carpenter and he was a member of Carmel Baptist Church for many years. He was a long time member and Master Mason of the Masonic Lodge in Monticello. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Jimmy is survived by his wife Brenda Mason of Monticello, MS; son Paul Mason and wife Amy of Pearl, MS, Julie Davis and husband Brad of Monticello, MS and Christy Coon and husband Donald of Jayess, MS; grandchildren, Keri Coone and husband Gage, Cole Davis and wife Pamela, Logan Mason and Meagan Mason; great grandchildren, Cayson and Easton Coone; one brother Jerry Mason.

Those preceding him in death were his parents; step father, Conley Hill and brother Jackie Mason.
