Jimmy spent years hanging out with his friends that he loved dearly, whether it be riding "buggy's," gathering at his home or theirs, he enjoyed every minute of it and often said "I have lived a good life." He loved being beside the love of his life, Ginger, whatever they were doing, as long as it was together. The thing he really cherished most, over the last few years, was becoming best friends with his pride and joy, Austin. He loved anytime he had with his precious grands and all the pics and videos Kasi would send him of them. He was one proud Pawpaw Jimmy. He dearly loves his Sis and looked forward to their daily text, her visits, and traveling the world through her eyes. He also enjoyed really his sleep and his privacy. He wants his friends and family to remember him for who he was, all the good times, and not what cancer took from him. Jimmy loved being a crane-operator and was very good at it, which he did up until he retired. In the past year, his greatest accomplishment was that God gave him the determination to put down strongholds in his life and become a part of the body of Christ at Monticello Methodist Protestant Church.
He is survived by his beloved fiancé: Ginger Lambert, Son: Austin Davis (Kasi), Sister: Deborah Wilson, his precious grands, Charli Rose and Slade James, step daughter: Erika Lambert, step son, Evan Lambert (Emily), 2 brothers Jerry and Charlie Davis, along with nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Marie Stagner Wilson and Charles Buddy Wilson, along with three of his close friends, Paul Polk, Edward Stewart, and Mr. Glenn Powell.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, in his memory, to Monticello Methodist Protestant Church, 937 F. E. Sellers Hwy, Monticello, MS 39654.
The family would also like to extend a special thanks to Arden Hospice and his church family.
