Mrs. Jeweline Douglas King 73, of Monticello, MS passed away on June 7, 2019 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg; MS. Jeweline was born July 28, 1945 in Lawrence County, MS to Jewel Edward and Mary Ollie Smith Douglas.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, with funeral services at 11AM Monday at New Hope Baptist Church in Monticello, with graveside services following in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Joey Faulk, Bro. Kevin Crozier and Bro. Talmadge Smith will officiate the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Jeweline retired from Georgia Pacific after 38 years of service. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, watching their sporting events. She loved spending every Tuesday with her quilting friends at the "sewing house". She loved working on the farm with Holton.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years Holton King of Monticello, daughters Kimberly White (Donnie) of Madison, MS, and Shannon Johnson of Monticello, MS; sister Gladys Tyrone of Monticello, MS; grandchildren Hayden White, Julianna Johnson and Conner Johnson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
