Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Lynn King will be on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at New Zion Baptist Church in Monticello, MS at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the New Zion Cemetery. Bro. Paul Stephens will be officiating the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at New Zion Baptist Church on Saturday, May 26, from 8:30 AM until 11:00 AM.

Mr. Jerry, 69, of Monticello, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, in Natchez with his loving family by his side. He was born on February 14, 1949 in Brookhaven, MS, to Elzen P. King and Frances Smith King. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, 3D archery, and spending time with his immediate family and his many friends. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Mr. Jerry was preceded in death by his mother.

Survivors are his wife of 42 years, Tamara King; his daughter, Jenny Townsend and husband Woody; his grandchildren, Conner Branton, Abby Branton, Ava Claire Higgins, and Blaire Townsend of Natchez MS; his father, Elzen King; his brothers, Carrol King and Gerald King; his sisters, Brenda King and Mary King Lea; and a host of family and friends.
