Mr. Jerry "Toby" Grimes, 73 of Lucedale, MS passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019 at his residence in Lucedale; MS. Toby was born June 27, 1946 in Shaw, MS to John and Ethel Grimes.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 12 PM until service time at 3 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, MS, with graveside services following in Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. John Grimes will officiate the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Toby loved to fish and drink coffee, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Lucedale, MS. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend.

He is survived by his sons; John Grimes and wife Stephanie of Lucedale, MS, Jason Grimes and wife Ruby of Pearl, MS, Joshua Grimes and fiancé Jodie of Lucedale, MS. Sisters Lillian Cantrell and Elizabeth Smith. 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are his parents, wife Rhonda Grimes; brothers, Robert, Johnny, and Donnie Carol Grimes, and Sister Doris Faye "Dot" Grimes Bourn.
