Mr. Jeff Haley, 61, of Monticello, MS passed away peacefully at his home, on December 15, 2023. Jeff was born on October 4, 1962 in Brookhaven, Mississippi to James Haley and Rebecca Hicks Boyd of Monticello, Mississippi.

Funeral Services for Mr. Haley will be Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Monticello Methodist Protestant Church with Bro. Dave Nichols and Bro. Kevin McAdams officiating.  Visitation will be Wednesday night, December 20, 2023 from 5:30 to 8:00 Pm at Wilson Funeral Home.  Wilson Funeral home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Jeff loved his work as armed security guard with Maxx Guard.  He was promoted to the position of Captain before retiring.  He was an avid Buford T. Pusser fan and was close to Buford's family. Jeff enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and family. He also enjoyed visiting and talking with his friends on Facebook.

He is survived by his father, James Haley (Nelson); his two brothers, Jimmy (Barbara) and Jay Haley (Angel); daughters, Sabrina Haley Green (James) and Kelsey Wallace; two sons, Andy Haley (Lena) and Christopher Haley (Kristin); four granddaughters and 2 grandsons.

Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Hicks Boyd; a sister, Lisa Haley; grandparents, A.D. and Wilma Hicks also maternal grandparents, Lessie Stephens and Sidney Haley.
