Ms. Janice Jordan, 77, of Monticello, Mississippi passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2021 at the Lawrence County Nursing Center in Monticello, MS. Janice was born November 15, 1944 in Lincoln County, Mississippi to Walter Henry and Maxie Hemphill Jordan.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday March 23, 2022 at Roberts Memorial Cemetery in Jayess, MS. Bro. Jay Thompson will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Janice was retired from the Jackson Public Schools where she worked as a librarian for 25 years.

Janice is survived by her nieces and nephews Sherry Davis, Gary Jordan, Terry Jordan, Ken Jordan, Eddie Jordan, Phill Jordan, Keith Jordan, Thomas Jordan, Terrie Bonestroo, Mark Jordan, Steve Jordan and Jeffrey Jordan.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.
