Janice Ann Bassett, 68 of Silver Creek, MS passed away Wednesday, March26, 2025 at St. Dominics in Jackson, Mississippi. SHE was born May2, 1956 in Houston, TX.

A Memorial Service will be held at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel on April 1, 2025 starting at 11:00 AM.

Janice was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who was full of life, loud, and loved to tell you about Jesus. She lit up the room with one of the best smiles in the world, had one of the loudest laughs that was infectious. She will be missed greatly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruth Ann Harris and brother, Michael Harris

Survivors include: husband, Danny Bassett, Sr.; daughter, Mandy Bassett; son, Danny Bassett, Jr.; granddaughters: Autumn Barricks, Emma Thomas-Bassett, Isabella Bassett, Taeko Bassett, and one great-grandson, Bailey Barricks; sisters: Jeanne Desroche, and Penny Bass.
