On November 4, 2016 James Drury Lambert Sr., left this earthy world to go home with God. What he left behind is a legacy nothing short of love. He was a devoted father to his boys Jimmy and Bryan Lambert. His children and grandchildren were truly the light of his life. He was a cherished member of the Catt family and deeply loved for his roll helping to care for his wife Linda's siblings in the event of Dorothy Beachan Catt's untimely passing. He retired from Georgia Pacific after 25 years and was owner and operator of Lambert's Limousin Cattle. He was a lifelong member of New Hope Baptist Church where he served as deacon for many years. He was a man of few words but he meant every one of them. He loved all and judged none and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
