James was a brother to all who knew him. He never met a stranger and would do anything for anyone. He loved his son Jacob and was very proud of his son's accomplishments. He was a loving husband, father, son, uncle, brother-in-law and friend.

Life is not about how long you live but how you live and James touched the lives of many. He had a God given talent for fine tuning any engine and loved building race cars. Not only did he enjoy working on race cars he loved to drive them. He was not afraid to live life and make precious memories with his wife, son, family and friends that we will treasure forever. God loaned him to us for a short while so that he could bring joy and laughter to our hearts.

James is survived by his wife Deborah, son Jacob, parents James and Elaine, his siblings Thomas and Cathy, niece Ashley, nephews Justin and Jonathan and great nephew Logun.

He was a member of Carmel Baptist church.
