James Hughey Catt, 67 of Jayess, MS, died Monday, January 27, 2014 at his residence in Jayess, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11 am, on Friday, January 31, 2014 at Topeka Baptist Church in Jayess, MS. Burial will be in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 5-9 pm at Topeka Baptist Church.

Mr. Catt was born in Marion County, MS. He was a member of Jayess Masonic Lodge, member of Tilton Creek Hunting club. He was well known for his story telling, and loved to hunt and fish. He loved being with his family and grandchildren.
