Mr. James David Bryant Sr., 74, of Jayess, MS passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at his residence in Jayess, MS. David was born December 27, 1947, in Lawrence County, Mississippi to J.T. and Myrtle McNeese Bryant.

Visitation will be held on Friday September 16, 2022 from 1 PM until 2 :45 PM at Wilson Funeral Home with funeral services at 3 PM, there will be no graveside services.  Bro. Bren Smith will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

He was retired from the oilfield as a tool pusher, he was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved cooking and spending time with his grandchildren.

David is survived by Linda Humphreys; his sons; James David Bryant Jr, Brent Bryant and Matthew Bryant; sister Elizabeth McLeod; grandchildren, Conner, Spencer, Jade, Justus, Joeligh, Ayden, Zoie and Logan.

David was proceeded in death by his parents.
