Mr. James M. "Jimmy" Boyd, 65, of Monticello, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021. He was born October 27, 1955, in Tylertown, Mississippi, to Dewitt and Ruby Nell Boyd.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening 5 - 9 PM with funeral services following on Wednesday at 11:00 AM, with graveside services following, all at Divide Memorial Methodist Protestant Church.

Jimmy was a loving husband, father, and the best Pops in the world. He was a friend to many and helped everyone that asked. He was a hard worker and was a long-time truck driver, affectionately known as Chopper.

Survivors include his parents, his wife of 27 years, Jane; daughter and son-in-law Donna and Donald Rose, son and daughter-in-law Will and Samantha Boyd; son- and daughter-in-law Scott and Jennifer Williams; sister and brother-in-law, Donna (Susie) and Reggie Smith; 7 grandchildren Raven, Maggie, Johnna, Jaycee, Ally, Brantley, and Nash; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Christa LeAnn.
