Jack Edward Stalans, Sr. was born on October 8, 1934 to Orval Chris Stalans and Lessie Irene Markham Stalans in Bartow, FL. He gained his heavenly wings September 9, 2021 at the age of 86 passing from this earthly home into the arms of God quietly and peacefully.

A visitation will be held at New Life Church in Monticello on Thursday, September 16 from 11:00 AM until the memorial service begins at 1:00 PM.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Alma McNeese and brother in law John T and nephews Freddy McNeese and Chris Stalans.

He leaves behind his wife Lyma Sue, daughter Glenda Sharlene Roberts New Hebron, MS, Jack Edward Stalans Jr (Darlene) Crooked Creek, MS, Joseph Abraham Stalans (Sharyn) New Hebron, MS. Two brothers Tommy (Eloise) Stalans and David (Brenda) Stalans both living in Perry, FL. Five grandchildren William Travis Stalans (Stephanie) Memphis, Tennessee, Joseph Blake Stalans (Jerrica) Okolona, MS, Gregory David Stalans Grange, MS, Abby Brooke George (Wesley) Jackson, MS, Laura Michelle Roberts, New Hebron, MS. Two great granddaughters Olivia Nicole Stalans and Alaina Mae Stalans who live in Okolona, MS and was excited on the upcoming birth of his third great grandchild.
