Grave Side services for Gwendolyn Marie Ruby will be on Saturday, March 28, 2020, at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Monticello, MS at 3:00 PM. Bro. Mike Grenn. Bro. Michael Smith, and Bro. Philip Alford will be officiating the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Ruby, 61, of Monticello, MS, passed from this life on March 26, 2020, at the University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. She was born on March 2, 1969 in Tylertown, MS, to Barney and Deloris Morgan Calcote.

Gwen was loved by so many and known for her big heart and great personality.  She loved traveling with her husband shopping, and working in her flower beds.  Most importantly she loved spending time with her grandkids.  She adored them and adored her.  She will live on through each of them.  She was an amazing woman and will truly be missed by many.

Preceding  her in death were her Mother Deloris Calcote; son, Kenn Hedgepeth; granddaughter Kaleigh Bree Faust.

Survivors are her husband, Dale Ruby; daughters, Karey McPhail (Michael), and Brooke Hedgepeth (Tommy); sisters, Tanya Calcote, Cindy Calcote; brother, Barney Calcote Jr. (Jennie) grandchildren, 9; great grandchildren, 1; and a host of family and friends.
