Mr. Guadalupe Esquivel was born in Tamaulipas Mexico on February 2,1941 to his
parents Juan Gonzalez Esquivel and Refugio Mata. He passed away on Sunday
November 26, 2023 at his residence in Monticello, MS.

Visitation will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on November 28, 2023 from
5:00PM until. Funeral services will also be at Wilson Funeral Home on November
29, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Monticello, MS. Graveside services will follow at 1383
Ferguson Mill Rd Silver Creek, MS. 39663. Pastor Jaime Reta will officiate the
services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Repass for the
family will proceed afterwards.

Guadalupe was a member of Freedom Church, where he served under the
leadership of Pastor David Lambert. Mr. Esquivel held many titles in his life but
his favorite role was being a father and grandfather. He loved the sport of baseball
and was an awesome baseball player in his youth. He encouraged his grandchildren
and great grandchildren to be great baseball players someday and work hard at
their dreams. Guadalupe was also a farmer at his home where he planted fruit
trees, cilantro, chili, and many vegetables. Aside from working on his farm, he was
also a taxi driver for 40 years.

Guadalupe is survived by his wife Maria Echartea and two daughters, Sofia
Esquivel of Monticello, MS. and Margarita Esquivel of Hazlehurst MS. and Sons ,
Fernando Esquivel of Monterrey Mexico and Rolando Esquivel of Jayess Ms. 12
grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Juan and Mata, his brothers and sisters,
and his son Luis Esquivel of Monterrey, Mexico.
