Ms. Grace Marlene Smith, 74, of Sontag, Mississippi passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at University Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Marlene was born December 16, 1946 in Sontag, Mississippi to Curtis and Hazel Terry Jackson.

Visitation will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church in Sontag, MS on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 10:00 AM until funeral services at 12:00 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church, with graveside services following in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Andy Fullington will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Marlene enjoyed spending time with her family especially going to ballgames watching her grandchildren play. She enjoyed cooking Sunday dinner for her family. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church; she will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Marlene is survived by her children; son, Chris Smith (Carla), Pam Peavey (Wayne) both of Sontag; sister, Jeanette Smith; grandchildren, Amber, Kayla, Bailey and Morgan; great- grandchildren, Caden, Paxton, Paisley and Magnolia.

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Howard Everett Smith; one brother and one sister.
