Gloria Billiot's Obituary
Gloria Billiot, 75, was called home from this life on Sunday, March 13, 2016, at her residence in Monticello, MS. Mrs. Billiot was born on July 28, 1940, in Avoylles Parish, LA, to Alexander and Alma Austin Ortgo.
Memorial service will be at Pearl Valley Baptist Church on Friday, March 18, 2016, at 3 PM. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Brother James Harris will be conducting the services.
Mrs. Billiot was a retired prison guard form Angola State Prison and also worked for many years as a beautician. She enjoyed gardening and spending time at her church. She was a member of Pearl Valley Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Calvin I. Billiot; sons, Mark Anthony Mayberry-Billiot of Monticello, MS, and Samuel I. Billiot of Houston, TX; sisters, Nell Golden and husband Calvin, and Kitty Seawell; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Proceeding her in death were her parents, Alexander and Alma Austin Ortgo; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
