Gladys King Neal, 92, was called home from this life on April 29, 2018, at her residence in Monticello; MS. Gladys was born March 24 1926 in Lawrence County, MS to John Allen and Alice Jordan King.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 1, 2018 from 9:30 AM until service time at 11 AM at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Monticello, with graveside services following in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Monticello, MS. John Davis and Bro. Stan Lobin will officiate the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Gladys retired from Kellwood Manufacturing after 20 years, she was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church; she was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother sister and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving Gladys are her children Roger Neal (Lou) of Monticello; Cheryl McGrew of McComb, MS; Rita Wallace (Audie) of Monticello, MS; grandchildren Kenny Neal, Joseph Neal (Susan), Tina Kirkland (Wayne), Robin Lambert, Greg Sanders (Eileen); 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents John Allen and Alice Jordan King, husband Walter Max Neal; grandson Scotty Sanders; 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
