Gerri Juanita Hancock Griffith, 51, of Jayess, Mississippi, made her heavenly ascend on Thursday, March 26, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 4, 1968 in Collins, Mississippi and grew up in Mize, Mississippi until she was married and made her home in Monticello, Mississippi.

She was a very faithful and loving wife, mother and "Mimi", who adored her children and grandchildren with all her heart.  She was also known to her family and friends as "Nene".  She always wore a contagious smile and possessed a positive attitude as medical issues became a challenge for her, it never diminished her enthusiasm or zest for life.
