George Thomas Hutchinson, 76 of Monticello, MS passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025 at his residence in Monticello, MS. He was born Thursday, February 10, 1949 in Marion, county.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home at 904 W. Thomas E. Jolly Drive, Monticello, MS. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Wanilla Baptist Church in Monticello, MS. Burial will follow in Wanilla Baptist Church Cemetery in Monticello, MS. Bro. George enjoyed fishing, gardening, growing watermelons, and working on his truck and tractor. He also loved spending time with family and making people laugh. He worked hard as a full-time truck driver to provide for his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Addis Lynn "Daigo" Hutchinson; mother, Helen Faye Stokes; brothers, Arnold Hutchinson and Jimmy Ray Hutchinson.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Jo Ann Crawford Hutchinson; sons, James Rogers (Courtney) and Joseph Hutchinson (Erin); daughter, Rene Ervin (Randall); brother, Robert Hutchinson; sisters, Wanda Faye Olsen and Addie Kay Trahan; 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
