Mr. George S. Davis born November 23, 1937 passed on Monday August 16, 2021 at his residence. God granted him his final wish by allowing him to pass sitting in his chair, peacefully, just as he wanted. He was 83.

George is survived by three of his four children: John Michael Davis, Denise Gayle and Derenda Hamshar. He was proceeded in death by his parents, his oldest child George Scott (Scottie) Davis, his first wife (mother of his children) Edna Lucille Gayle Davis and his second wife Cathy Davis. He has two grandsons: Kevin Davis and Hunter Gray as well as his special grandson Zachary Wright and a granddaughter Lynn Reeves. He had numerous step grandkids.

Services will be at Bible Church in Silver Creek, Saturday, August 21, 2021 1247 N.A. Sandifer Hwy Silver Creek, MS 39663 beginning at 9:30. Graveside services to immediately follow in Bible Church Cemetery.
