Ms. Gay Thomas Meyers, 81, a long time resident of Jayess, MS passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in Marrero, Louisiana. Gay was born February 12, 1940, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 14, from 10:00 until 11:00 AM with funeral services at 11:00; both to take place in the Wilson Funeral Home chapel, Monticello, Mississippi. Graveside services will follow in the Divide Memorial Methodist Protestant Church Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Gay is survived by her three children; Keith Meyers (Debbie) of Jackson, Louisiana, Kim Breaux (Carroll) of Marrero, Louisiana, and Kaye Lynn Meyers of Monticello, Mississippi, and by her grandchildren; Jennifer Guttery, Stephen Meyers (Juliana), Blake Meyers (Colleen), Emily Hargis (Ritchie) and David Breaux (Huyen); as well as seven great-grandchildren; Paul Guttery, Faith Guttery, Sophie Meyers, Miller Meyers, Joseph Meyers, Ethan Hargis and Hudson Hargis. She also leaves behind a brother, Ronnie Thomas; a sister, JoEllen Hall, and a host of nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

She was finally reunited with the love of her life - her husband Ronald Meyers, as well as her mother Beulah Keisling and her brother Gary Thomas.
