Garry Lynn Hodges, 61, of Jayess, MS, passed from this life on February 21, 2015, at his residence in Jayess, MS. Visitation will be on Monday, February 23, 2015, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Providence Baptist Church and will continue on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at Providence Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery. Dr. Will Wall and Bro. Les Hughes will officiate the services. Wilson Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Hodges was born on January 16, 1954, in Natchez, MS to Leroy and Ida Mullins Hodges. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church. He was a retired Photo Manger from Wal-Mart of Brookhaven, MS. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Hodges; brothers, Larry Glenn Hodges and Curtis Randall Hodges; and brother-in-law, Thomas M. DeWitt.

He is survived by his mother, Ida Mullins Hodges of Jayess, MS; sisters, Diane DeWitt and Dorris Hodges both of Jayess, MS; nieces, Angela Strange Stoner, Alicia Strange, Adrienne Strange and Deidre DeWitt Patten; nephew, Mike DeWitt; and a host of great nieces, great nephews and friends.

Pallbearers are Mike DeWitt, Steven Patten, Chris Stoner, Toney Wade Jr., Phil Hodges and Ricky Hodges.
