Mrs. Frances Johnson, 75, of Sontag, Mississippi passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at her residence in Sontag. Frances was born August 13, 1945 in Lincoln County Mississippi to Herbert and Ruby Lea Durr Wright.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 5PM until 8PM at Shiloh Baptist Church in Sontag, MS and continuing on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 9AM until service time at 11AM with graveside services following in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Ed King and Bro. Jimmy Smith will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Frances was retired from the Nuclear Plant after 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren. She loved to fish and go shopping. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Sontag. She will be missed dearly by everyone.

Frances is survived by her husband of 48 years Joe Troy Johnson of Sontag, MS; children, Francine Hodges (Bowen), Mac Madison Johnson Jr., Tammy Smith (Larry), Chuck Jason Johnson (Wanda), and Kathy Jo Bowman (Bull); 13 grandchildren; 10 great grand-children; one brother, David Scott and one sister Shelia Ann Delaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.

Those preceding her in death were her parents, 1 son Nelson Johnson, brother Wayne Wright, 2 grandsons, Mitchell Hardy and Joseph Florence.
