Elner Rose Fuller, 85 of Jayess, MS passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Lawrence County Hospital in Monticello, Mississippi. She was born Wednesday, January 17, 1940 in Lawrence County, Mississippi.

A memorial to honor her will be held at Forest Grove Methodist Protestant church this Saturday at 2 PM with a time to visit from 12-2 PM.

She was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family dearly. Elner loved her extended family and absolutely enjoyed bringing them together. She was known as a social butterfly who was happy to share her opinion regardless of you wanting to hear it. Mom was a person of deep faith that loved her Savior and her church family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Fuller;  father, John Thomas Rutland;  mother, Rosie Alice King;  brothers, Thomas Jewel Rutland, James Melvin Rutland, Fred Rutland, Harvey Rutland, Denver Rutland, Conly Rutland and Carl Rutland;  sisters, Erlene Taccati and Dezzie Netherland.

Survivors include her son, David W. Fuller (Cecilia) of Gadsden, AL; daughter, Anita Fuller Griner (Raymond) of Jayess, MS; grandchildren, Jonathan Fuller, Benjamin Fuller, Jordan Fuller, Tyler Fuller, Darryl Reid and Ashley McElhany; brother, Harold Rutland; thirteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the Forest Grove Methodist Protestant Church Special Project Fund.
