Mr. Edward Stewart, 52, of Monticello, Mississippi passed away on December 28, 2022 at his home. Edward was born September 15, 1970 in Brookhaven, Mississippi to Wayne Lee Stewart and Betty Hoffman.

A visitation will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday, December 31, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM, with a memorial service beginning in the funeral home chapel at that time. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Edward loved the outdoors, especially riding the creek on his side-by-side, boat-riding in the Pearl River, and turkey hunting with Gunner. He also loved to cook for his pipeline family as well as his friends at home. He was a hard worker and provider for his family, pipelining all of his adult life. He was loved by all that knew him and was always the life of the party.

He is survived by his wife, Stacy Stewart; his daughter, Trish Smith (Shane), and grandson, Gunner Smith (Julie); his mother; a sister, Elizabeth Stewart Boudreaux (Ray); nephew and niece, Ray Boudreaux, Jr. and Savannah Boudreaux. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Terry Stanley (Billie) and Robert Simmons (Dana); very special friends, Anna and Joey Durr, Brad and Kiley McClendon, Suzy Coker, Robin Thurman, and Eddie "Steady" Ervin, as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Edward was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents, Marion H. and Dorothy Smith; and a special great-grandmother, Jewel Gregory.
