Ms. Edna Earl Speights, 89, of Monticello, MS passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Lawrence County Nursing Center in Monticello, MS. Edna Earl was born January 27, 1931, in Mississippi to Herbert and Thelma Merritt McLeod.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Edna worked for many years at Kellwood Manufacturer after retiring from the factory her and Mr. Robert started their Flower Nursery that began a business know as Speights Nursery.  She was a member of Carmel Baptist Church.

Edna Earl is survived by her daughter, Janice Wilson of Sontag, MS; sister, Voncile Case of Brookhaven, MS; brother, Hebert McLeod of Monticello, MS and two grandsons and great grandchildren. Along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Those preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Robert Speights; sister, Thelma Lee Adcock.
