Edna Victoria Hedgepeth, 94 was called home from this life on November 29, 2016, at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven, MS. Edna was born November 4, in Tylertown MS to Wallace and Laura Holmes Willoughby.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 30, 2016 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello and continuing Thursday December 1, 2016 from 9 AM until service time at 11 AM with graveside services following in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Glen Hilton will officiate the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Surviving Edna is her son Johnny Newport and wife Linda of Brookhaven, MS; Grandchildren Ramona Dunn and husband Ricky of Brookhaven, MS; Melissa Lambert and husband Curtis of Jayess, MS; Johnny Newport Jr. of Silver Creek, MS; Great Grandchildren Joshua Dunn, Ashdon Dunaway, Tyler Dunn, Anna Gill, Avory Lambert, Cyller Lambert, A.J. Newport, Avery Notarianni, Matthew Notarianni, three Great Great Grandchildren Guydon Brister, Bella Brister and Colton Gill
Preceding her in death were husband J.W. Hedgepeth, parents Wallace and Laura Holmes Willoughby, brother Harlon Willoughby, two sisters Faye Gasket and Myrtle Morris.
