Obituary

Eddie Jake Smith was born on July 29, 1998 in Brookhaven, MS to Eddie and Sherry Speights Smith. He is survived by his parents, one sister, Bailey Smith, and one special little brother, Levi Smith.
He is survived by his grandparents, Jerry and Becky Speights, Johnny and Betty Smith. He is survived by his aunts and uncles; Jimmy and Hope Speights, Johnny and Sandy Abshire, Robbie and Chantay Smith, and Suzette Smith. Cousins, Marissa and Ervin Davis, Jessie and Tony Lambert, Erin and Austin Reynolds, Jonathon and Ashley Smith , Adrienne Smith, Rebecca Speights, Jaydon Speights, Dalton Abshire, Hallie Lambert, Ella Kate Davis, and Halen Davis.
Eddie Jake was a 2016 graduate of Lawrence County High School. He was currently attending Copiah Lincoln Community College pursuing a degree as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in Endocrinology.
Eddie Jake was loved by everyone he knew. He kept everyone laughing by telling jokes and stories. He loved riding four-wheelers, hunting, fishing, rapping, and hanging out with his friends. He touched so many lives in his short 18 years
Funeral Services will be: visitation is Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Monticello Baptist Church, Monticello, MS 5 – 9 pm. The service will be Friday, October, 14, 2016 at 1pm, interment will follow at Hepzibah Baptist Church, Silver Creek, MS. Wilson's Funeral Home in Monticello is in charge of the services.
