Obituary

Douglas Dewayne Deese, 51, was called home from this life on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at Lawrence County Hospital in Monticello, MS. Mr. Deese was born July 23, 1964, in Marianna, FL, to Douglas and Rutha Merle King Deese.
The visitation will be at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, MS, on Monday, May 30, 2016, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will continue on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at Wilson Funeral Home from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 1:00 PM. The graveside service will follow at Old Arm Cemetery. Bro. A.D.Gammill will officiate the services. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
He was a member of Lakeview Church of God Church. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was an avid wresting fan. He was a loving son, nephew and friend.
He is survived by uncles, Shelton King, Coyle King and wife Nora, and Lynn King and wife Nay all of Silver Creek, MS; aunts, Peggy Deese, Mary Deese, and Dorothy Deese; cousins, Emmitt and Tootsie Bullock, and Gajuena Ward; and a host of family and friends.
Proceeding him in death is parents, Douglas and Rutha King Deese; and aunt, Betty King.
Pallbearers are Kenny Bullock, Mike Fuller, Cody Burrow, Garrett Dickerson, Blake Roberts and Steve Davis. Honorary pallbearers are Emmitt Bullock, Billy Reynolds, Greg Moore, Iren Stewart, and the staff of Lawrence County Hospital Station 1.
