Dorothy Carolyn King, 70 was called home from this life on Sunday, June 12, 2016, at her residence in Silver Creek, MS. Dorothy was born July 25, 1945 in Lawrence County, MS to Aubrey White and Mary Odell Hudson Cliburn.
There will be a time of visitation from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm, Monday, June 13, 2016, at Wilson Funeral Home with the Service Tuesday June 14, 2016 at 2:00 pm the graveside service will be held in Ward Valley Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Bro. Richard Ryals will officiate the services.
Mrs. King worked with her husband for many years in the paper wood and fisherman business after his death she worked as a supervisor of Lawrence County Nursing Home later to retire. She was known as Nanny by all her family and friends. Mama and Daddy are together forever now.
Surviving Dorothy are her children, Tracy Renee King Reynolds and husband Richard of Jayess, June Elaine King White and husband Robert of Silver Creek, Leslie Lynn King Fuller and husband Michael of Silver Creek, and Patricia Michelle King and husband Chris of New Augusta, MS. Ten Grandchildren, and Four Great Grandchildren.
Proceeding her in death are her parents, Aubrey White and Mary Odell Hudson Cliburn, husband J.P. King, brothers James Cliburn, and Calvin Cliburn.
