Dorothy Hyde Carr, was called home from this life on Friday, June 5,2015 at Lawrence County Nursing Center. Dorothy was born September 9,1924 to Mr. Charles Henry Hyde and Isabelle King Hyde.
Visitation will be at New Hope Baptist Church in Monticello, MS on June 5, 2015 from 6 till 9 PM and continue Saturday June 6, 2015 from 8AM till 11AM. Funeral Service will be at11 AM at New Hope Baptist Church. The graveside service will follow in New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Monticello, MS. Brother Joey Faulk will officiate the services. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Dorothy was retired from Kellwood Manufacturing. She Enjoyed cooking, taking care of her Grandchildren ,and others. She also enjoyed working in her yard.
Dorothy is preceded in death by Parents: Charles Henry and Isabelle Hyde, Husband: Bill Carr. Daughter: Carolyn Neal, Sister: Lula Hedgepeth, Brothers: Billy, Duel, Roy and Charlie Hyde.
Survivors are Son: Randy Carr and wife Patsy of Monticello, MS, Brothers: Luther Hyde, and Jerry Hyde of Monticello, MS. Sisters: Betty Ballard and Judy Smith of Monticello, MS. 4 Grandchildren ,and 5 Great Grandchildren. A host of family and friends.
Pallbearers are Revis Ballard, Glen Hyde,Danny Hedgepeth, Harry Lambert, Thurman Lambert, Roger Price.
